The King Come in Grace and Justice

Sermon:        The King Comes with Grace & Justice               Psalm 2

I.  The Nations Rage    (1-3)

Romans 8:7-8 For the mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, for it does not submit to God’s law; indeed, it cannot.  Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Romans 3:10  “None is righteous, no, not one; 11 no one understands; no one seeks for God. 12  All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.”

II.  God Sits in Laughter & Judgment  (4-9)

III.  A Stern Warning and Surprising Grace  (10-12)

John 1:11 He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him. 12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.

Romans 5:8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
