The Sojourner Recognizes that…

I.  Every Blessing Comes from God (1-6, 13-26)

1 Timothy 6:17  As for the rich in this present age, charge them notto be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everythingto enjoy.

James 1:17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Fatherof lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

II.  Life is Short and Heaven is Our True Home (7-12, 27-31)

2 Corinthians 5:1  For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens… 6 We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, 7for we walk by faith, not by sight.
